"I Don't Ever Want to See You Again" is a song by American contemporary R&B singer Uncle Sam. It is the closing track on his eponymous debut album and was issued as the album's lead single. The song was written and produced by Boyz II Men member Nathan Morris.[1] Released in October 1997, it was Uncle Sam's only hit on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number six in 1998. The single was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on April 6, 1998. Worldwide, the song peaked at number eight in New Zealand and reached the top 40 in Australia, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Uncle Sam (born Sam Turner;[1] May 31, 1971 in Detroit, Michigan, United States)[2] is an American R&B and Pop singer. He is best known for being signed to Boyz II Men's Stonecreek Records imprint (distributed by Epic Records) in the late 1990s.[3]
One of his hits was the Nathan Morris-penned "I Don't Ever Want to See You Again" released October 14, 1997, which reached number 5 on the Hot 100chart, and No. 2 on the US R&B chart in 1997. The same track reached No. 30 in the UK Singles Chart in May 1998.[4] The record sold over one million copies, gaining Platinum status.[4]
