Juanita Vanoy Jordan (born June 13, 1959) is a former American model. She was married to Hall of Fame National Basketball Association player  Michael Jordan.

She was born the 13th of June, 1959 and was raised in the South Side of Chicago. She’s a former model and a former executive secretary for the American Bar Association.

Michael Jordan and Juanita Vanoy met for the first time at a Chicago Bennigan’s restaurant in 1984. They were introduced to each other by a common friend. They met for the second time at a party given by their friend a few weeks after they were introduced.

Then they dated each other on a regular basis. On December 31, 1987, Michael proposed to Juanita, they were at Nick’s Fish Market in Chicago then. Juanita said yes to the proposal, however they decided to call off their engagement.
