Narvasa named new PBA chief

CHITO Narvasa will be the next Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer of the Philippine Basketball Association.

After thorough deliberation and interviews of qualified candidates, the PBA board picked the former Shell head coach and current head of the Basketball Coaches Association of the Philippines to succeed outgoing PBA commissioner Chito Salud.

Narvasa is now the ninth commissioner in league history.
