Addarren Ross (1995-20 June 2013), also known as Lil Snupe, was a Louisiana rapper. Lil Snupe was signed to Meek Mill's Dream Chasers record label in 2013, but he was murdered that same year.
Biography[]
Addarren Ross was born in Jonesboro, Louisiana (80 miles east of Shreveport) in 1995, and he became a rapper under the name "Lil Snupe". In early 2013, at the age of 17, he was signed to Meek Mill's Dream Chasers record label after he gave his mixtape to Meek Mill in his van, and Mill signed him to his label twenty years later, saying that he spit pain like an East Coast rapper. On 20 June 2013, he was murdered at a Winnfield, Louisiana (an hour north of Alexandria) apartment building by two gunshots to the chest, and 36-year-old Tony Holden was arrested four days later.

Addarren La Keith Ross (; June 13, 1995 – June 20, 2013), known professionally as Lil Snupe, was an American rapper from Jonesboro, Louisiana signed to Meek Mill's record label Dream Chasers Records. His death at a young age was honored by several hip hop musicians and made him the subject of numerous musical tributes and documentaries.
Early life
Addarren Ross was born on June 13, 1995[2] in Jonesboro, Louisiana.[3] He was raised in Jonesboro, primarily by his mother Denesha Chester. His father, Charlie Brown, was incarcerated for most of his life, and at the time of his death, his father was released.
According to testimony by a family friend, Lil Snupe's mother had him when she was approximately 14 or 15 years old.[4] According to accounts by Lil Snupe's mother Denesha Ross, the rapper struggled in school and was expelled three times.[5]
