Karishma Ramharack
Born in El Dorado, a small town in Trinidad and Tobago, Karishma Ramharack began playing in the streets and garage before representing her primary school's senior team as a five-year-old. At 15, she trialled for Trinidad and Tobago's Under-19 side. Her ability to turn the ball both ways meant she was soon a regular in the senior team.
Ramharack formed a potent spin-bowling combination at Trinidad and Tobago alongside fellow offspinner Anisa Mohammed. In 2015, Ramharack returned figures of 8 for 23 against South Windward Islands in a 50-over game. Two years later, she took 11 wickets in six games to help Trinidad and Tobago win the 50-over regional tournament. In the 2023-24 edition, she was the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the competition with 11 scalps.
She made her international debut on West Indies' tour of Pakistan in 2019. At T20 World Cup 2023, she picked up five wickets in three matches. Ramharack has been part of Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Women's Caribbean Premier League.
