Biography

William Huntington was baptized in St Kew,[1] Cornwall, on 20 January 1805. The names of his parents were John and Elizabeth.[2]

Parents and siblings

A John Thomas Huntingdon, son of John and Elizabeth, was baptized in St Kew on 26 January 1800.[3] Since there are very few occurrences of the surname Huntington or Huntingdon in Cornish records from this era or earlier, there can be little doubt that John Thomas was a brother of William. It also seems rather likely that their mother was the Elizabeth Huntington who was buried at St Kew on 27 May 18
