Sara Jane Ho (Chinese: 何佩蓉) is a Chinese educator, socialite,[1] and founder of Institute Sarita, a Beijing finishing school established in 2013.[2][3] She is the etiquette expert for the 2022 Netflix series Mind Your Manners.[4] The New York Times has described her as a representation of the new "Superrich" in China.[5]

Early life and education

Sara Jane Ho was born in Hong Kong in December 1985. Her father made a living as a businessman who built hospitals to be donated to the government, while her mother was a music industry executive.[6] Ho's mother died in 2007 when Sara Jane was 21.[7]

Ho attended the Peak School and German Swiss International School, followed by Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire.[8] She studied English literature at Georgetown University, where she sits on the Georgetown College Board of Advisors, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.[9][10]

Sarah-Jane Dias is an Indian actress, TV host, video jockey, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the title of Femina Miss India World in 2007 and represented India at Miss World 2007.[2] She was also a video jockey for Channel V.[3]

Early life

Sarah-Jane Dias was born in Muscat, Oman to a Konkani-speaking Goan Catholic family. Her father, Eustace Dias, is a marketing manager with Oilfields Supply Centre and her mother is named Yolanda. She also has a sister named Elena Rose Dias.[4]

Dias attended Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir until Grade 10, then she joined Indian School, Muscat doing her 11th and 12th. She then attended university at Mumbai's St. Andrews College.[5] Prior to winning Miss India World title in 2007, she had won the Miss India Oman title in 1997.[5]
